Stop Twist Clamp Kit - 4 Pack CNC Hold-Downs
Stop Twist Clamp - set the stop, hand-twist the cam to clamp down, then cut with confidence and swap parts in seconds.
Top down clamping that pulls parts to the bed for fast, repeatable setups on any stock.
Bolt each clamp to an M6 T-nut as a repeatable stop, hand-twist the precision tapered cam to draw the work down, then cut - tool-free after setup and shop tested on wood, aluminum and steel.
- Benefits
- No tool operation - hand-twist to engage or release, no tools needed.
- Top-down clamping - locks material down to the bed for repeatable setups, even when boards aren't perfectly flat.
- Wide clamping range - one twist covers 1/4", and with spacers, you can secure anything from 0 to 3/4".

Our Story
We were recently working with a Wildlife Rescue developing Owl nesting box designs that could slot together without any tools. The Stop Twist Clamps were born out of having to deal with 4' x 4' sheets of 3/4" plywood that was 'Covid quality' (aren't we beyond that now...?), the sheets were so warped, it was like playing whack-a-mole. Side cam clamps were not suitable. Conventional toe clamps were ok, but they didn't provide the stop function to locate the sheets. We searched high and low for an existing product, but to no avail, so we developed this design over many, many iterations that included developing a cam geometry to maximize the clamping area and force, plus a design and manufacturing process that allowed the cam to rotate without loosening the securing bolt which provide the additional stop function. During the development, we've worked on projects that required steel and aluminum plate to be machined, so we used that as an opportunity to use the Stop Twist Clamps and they performed very well. We know there's a lot of clamping solutions out there so wrestled with whether to make these available, but as they seem to offer some unique features we thought we'd make them available - let us know what you think.
